THE BRO FAQ

What’s a ‘fistbump’?

It’s like a ‘poke’! Bros get 40 Fistbumps per week! You can’t Fistbump another bro twice in a row - they have to bump you back first!

Why can’t I upload non-Facebook photos to my profile?

We found that Bros are more likely to have appropriate photos when only Facebook photos can be used in their profile. We don’t want BRO to end up with a bunch of random torsos or… other body parts that don’t belong in a Bro’s profile. What if your boss is on BRO??

Where can I find my matches?

To find your Matches, hit the Menu icon in the top left hand corner, select Favorites, then click the Matches sub-tab. If a Bro has the solo cup logo next to their name, it’s a match!

How can I block or report another Bro?

To block or report another bro, open their profile and tap the block icon (the prohibitory sign). Select whether you would like to block or send a report about the Bro and then confirm the action. Be advised that you can unblock any bro from the list of blocked users under Settings. You have unlimited Blocks, but still use them wisely!

How can I link my social accounts?

To link your social accounts to your Bro profile, under EDIT PROFILE in Settings, scroll down and tap the icon of social network you would like to connect. Simply enter your username or ID from each specific social network. Confirm the action and make sure to test that each link works!

Why am I presented a BRO wait list?

The Bro waitlist is presented when there are not enough Bros in the area for the app to function properly. Invite some Bros and check back soon!

Why can't I see more daily bros?

The number of daily bros is limited to how many Bros are near you and how many have already tried to match with you. You can view up to 25 Daily Bros a day.

Why can't I delete my main profile photo?

The option to not use a profile photo - and use a Bro avatar instead - is available only during registration if user SKIPS the photo sync process. Only Bros with photos will show up in Daily Bros.

How do I know the Online Status of another BRO?

You will see a Green, Yellow, or Grey dot next to their age on the Local Bros Grid and their Profile. Green signifies “Currently Online”, Yellow is “Recently Online”, and Gray is “Offline"

How do I update my location in my profile?

Please e-mail location@bro.social if you need to change your home city.

How can I delete my account?

To delete your account, please email delete@bro.social with your name and reason you’d like to delete the app.
